We're in the thick of the Autumn Winter season and if you haven't made excuses to buy knitwear yet, then what are you waiting for? Knitwear is truly essential for the colder months, or if you live in England when you need jumpers for at least 80% of the year. When I look for new knitwear, I usually stick to the same two places: Marks & Sparks and Zara. Why? Because the quality lasts forever and the styles are timeless. So of course my selection to shop below is crowded with pieces from there, as well as Mango & Nasty Gal. I've not actually shopped from Nasty Gal yet (it's been a while since I've shopped, it's quite shocking), but I've seen the quality and price points are so great, you can't miss it.
My tips for investing in knitwear are to go for the basics first and buy them in your staple colours; black, white, grey, navy and neutrals, even a pop of colour (red & green are perfect, yes I know Christmasy but trust me). Then go wild with the patterns and colours once you've covered the staples.
Stand out piece: That oversized grey cape number from Mango is so good!
Lots of Love,
Emily xx
