The New Uniform

When I heard the Chelsea Flower Show had started, of course I had to crawl out of my hole, head into London and stand in front of doorways with flowers because it's basic and essential to the blogger life. And luckily enough I have a best friend who's just as weird as I am and wanted to do the same thing (Alizey, you are the best).

Because the weather wasn't as sunny as I wanted it to be/as it was predicted to be because England lets us down, I couldn't really wear a dress or shorts like I wanted. So I chucked on my trusty jeans and walked out the door.

I'm all for cute white blouses right now and I'm about ready to fill my wardrobe with them for Spring Summer. This one in particular from Zara was just what I wanted and I've found a whole bunch more from there too. It's so versatile that I can pair it with denim, leather or whatever I want really. My go-to is pairing it with a pair of skinny jeans, either loosely tucked in like I have done here or worn out. I think a blouse like this is a perfect staple for any girl to have for simple yet elegant wear.

Also I'm a convert to slides. I love them. I looked everywhere for the perfect pair and Aldo, as always, never let me down! They are super cute and I can wear them with anything. I have a feeling I'll be going back for the other colours soon. And H&M just bought out some cute ones too - here and here.

Outfit: Blouse - Zara / Jeans - Topshop / Belt - New Look / Duster Coat - Primark (old) / Slides - Aldo / Sunglasses - Aldo / Bag - Gucci

So here's a random post because I wanted to update and I thought that I'm going to do this on a regular basis where iPhone photos will suffice when DSLR ones haven't been taken. Also it was an excuse to show off the pretty flower backgrounds. P.s; does anyone else think that Annabel's in Mayfair should just be covered in flowers all year round?

Lots of love,

Emily xx
