Coconut Oil: 5 Amazing Uses as a Beauty Product.

Coconut oil is highly disregarded as a miracle beauty product. It's one of the simplest things that you can buy from a supermarket and can be used in various ways to maintain your body naturally. My mum, being the investigator that she is, has always been fond of using natural products to enhance the body, rather than using products that may not react to our skin well or have unknown substances. Coconut oil is one of those things that is so handy and that I've grown to use more because of it's various appliances. I've decided to share the top 5 that I generally use coconut oil for as a beauty product.

1. Get rid of those marks and scars.
Even though we have products like Bio Oil that help us get rid of our scars, coconut oil can do the trick in a shorter amount of time. Using the right amount on your scars every morning and night can get rid of those little marks instantly. I use it on my face to get rid of little marks and because it's a natural product, I have no weird reactions to it like I do with some facial products. It's really a miracle worker.

2. Dry lips? Smack some on.
Coconut oil as a lip balm gives your lips moisture and makes them silky smooth so you don't have to worry about dry, cracked lips, especially in the summer heat.

3. Nail Growth.
Like me, if you have weak, short nails that you want to be longer without having to put on false or acrylic nails on, then just take some coconut oil, rub it into your cuticles et voila: longer, stronger nails!

4. Panda Eyes? Solution: Use it as a make-up remover.
We all have those days when our make-up looks on point, but when it comes to taking it off after a long day, our mascara and eyeliner do not want to part from our faces. So we try using more make-up wipes and washing our faces a bit more, but it's never enough. Why not put some coconut oil onto a cotton pad and wipe it away. The results will be a lot better than having panda eyes!

5. Use it for naturally silky smooth, healthy hair.
I haven't actually tried this yet, but I plan to. I've heard that if you use it as a natural conditioner, your hair will be a lot healthier and silkier. Don't we all want that? To achieve this, rub coconut oil into your hair, put on a shower cap and just leave it in for a few hours.

Seriously, this stuff is magical. Go get yourself some coconut oil now!

Lots of love,

Emily xx
